JEE 2008 format is expected to be:

  2. Different from JEE 2007 format as JEE is known for making changes

Option 2 seems to be the choice of the majority. The actual percentage varies daily but it looks roughly 60/40 after around 200 people have voted. Here are few remarks added in poll comments:

it will be a hybrid of both 2006 &2007 question papers. it is sure that numerical type questions will be present.

Remarks: It is often a misconception among a few students that the next year's paper will be just like the previous year's paper though the past trend says the opposite. Even maximum marks are sometimes thought to be the same. It may be beneficial for you if you keep your mind open and be ready to face anything new.
